Anhui Electric Power Design Institute(AHEDI), established in 1958, is the first-grade design institute engaged in electric power engineering survey and design, It is one of the earliest institutes which were classified as Grade A by the government. AHEDI is strong at the engineering survey, design of thermal power plants of various types and capacities, flue gas desulphurization projects, power transformation and transformation substations at different voltage levels,. We also offer service in the planning and designing of electric power systems, the design of electric power telecommunication projects, the design of municipal public utility projects, the assessment, evaluation and design of environmental protection projects, the design of fire protection projects , petroleum and natural gas (oil and gas store) projects design, geological investigation engineering,, and engineering survey, geotechnical, hydrogeology and meteorology survey projects, etc. AHEDI is also engaged in the engineering consulting, project management and EPC contracting business which is included in the business scope of survey and design. We have achieved 8 certificates in Grade A, such as electric power industry design, architecture engineering design, engineering consulting, general contract and comprehensive engineering survey and exploration, etc. and many certificates in Grade B and foreign economic cooperative business operation certificate.
Through the unremitting efforts of several generations, AHEDI has become the large integrated electric power survey and design enterprise with intensive professionals, advanced technological equipment and multiple service capability. There are 500 employees , among them, more than 50% of whom are senior and secondary professionals. Many kinds of registered experts accounted for 15% or more. AHEDI has a high-speed computer network with more than 600 network nodes, large-scale graphics processing system and advanced management information system.
AHEDI passed ISO9001 international quality system certification in 1997 and established the quality, occupational health and safety and environment integrated management system in 2008 which also passed certification. Since the establishment of AHEDI, it insists in well-designed and dedicated service,. There are more than 100 engineering projects received awards of excellence engineering survey and design in provincial and ministerial level and above,. Some of the power generation, power transformation and power transmission projects won the National excellent design awards (Golden, Silver, Bronze medal or Specific prize). AHEDI has made positive contributions to our country’s electric power industry and power engineering construction in Anhui.
AHEDI has advanced design technology and strong design capability in the field of power generation such as 600MW capacity and above , high parameter thermal power generating units, gas-steam combined cycle power plants, garbage burning power plants, bio-mass burning power plants, wind power plants and flue gas desulphurization, etc. and the field of grid design such as regional power planning, extra-high voltage transmission and transformation project, the great span crossing, multi-loop transmission technologies, HGIS, GIS, new truss and digital substation. AHEDI also has a wealth of design experience and good performance, and participates fully in the UHV AC and DC power transmission engineering survey and design work. It has the GPS satellite positioning system, digital photogrammetry system, remote-sensing satellites alignment platform covering Anhui province and other modern surveying equipment and technology which are compatible with our comprehensive survey qualification in Grade A.
