Founded in 1958, China Energy Engineering Group Anhui Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd.(CEEC AHEDI), is affiliated to China Energy Engineering Co.,Ltd.. It is a national high-tech enterprise which specializes in power system planning, engineering consulting, engineering survey, engineering design, project management and EPC general contracting business, etc.. It has 9 Grade A qualifications and 9 Grade B qualifications in 5 industries including power industry and architectural engineering, etc.. And it has foreign contracting qualifications with the scope of business both at home and abroad. CEEC AHEDI casts the brand with professional consulting services.It actively tracks the new situation and direction of the development of electric power industry and does well in power supply, power grid planning and preliminary consultation services.CEEC AHEDI had undertaken the design of access system for all the large power projects in the province, feasibility study consultation of ultra-high voltage,600 MW and 1000 MW large-scale thermal power projects, research project of energy development in the Yangtze River Delta, energy development planning of Anhui Provincial"13th Five-Year Plan", electric power planning and crop straw power generation industry planning, development research of Anhui distributed wind power, research on Anhui total coal control and consumption and planning of Anhui electric automobile charging facilities.CEEC AHEDI has played its supporting role as important think tank for the energy policy making of government and social economic sustainable development with high level of planning and consulting reports.

CEEC AHEDI not only has a strong design capability in 600 MW, 1000 MW and other high-capacity and high-parameter thermal power and various new energy power generation area, but also owns obvious design advantages in cogeneration and captive power plant. There are more than 20 sets of large units of 600 MW and 1000MW have been designed with the cumulative installed capacity of over 10,000 MW. It actively promotes the construction of photovoltaic, wind power and biomass power generation, propels the adjustment of energy structure and boosts air pollution control. More than 50 solar photovoltaic projects and over 30 wind power projects have been planned with more than 1300 MW and over 1000 MW of installed capacity respectively. A number of biomass power plants such as Wuhu Garbage, Huainan Garbage , Kaidi Tongcheng, Kaidi Wuhe and Huadian Suzhou Straw Power Plants have been built.

CEEC AHEDI is keeping the national leading place in the field of grid design such as regional power planning and the great span crossing. It keeps the national leading level in the design of ultra-high voltage transmission and transformation project and smart power grids. It fully participates in the survey and design of ultra-high voltage AC and DC transmission lines, transformer substations and convertor stations.Its high-end power transmission and transformation business covers the "Eastward Transmission of Anhui Electric Power " ultra-high voltage AC demonstration project, "Four AC and Four DC" ultra-high voltage power transmission channel engineering in national air pollution control action plan as well as 12 ultra-high voltage DC network of West-East Power Transmission Project and the West, North, Central and East China ultra-high voltage synchronous AC power grid projects. It has undertook the survey and design of more than 20 ultra-high voltage power transmission and transformation projects.The world's first "1000MW generator set sent by 1000kV transformer to 1000kV ultra-high voltage power grid" --1000kV Transmission Project of Huainan Pingwei Power Plant, Phase III, which was designed by CEEC AHEDI, had been completed and put into operation. It has designed more than 200 of 220~500kV transformer substations and over 15000 km of 220~750kV transmission line. And it has remarkable performance in the design of power transmission and transformation below 220kV, intelligent distribution network and intelligent charging facilities.

CEEC AHEDI gives full play to the advantages of knowledge-intensive and technology-intensive and establishes a complete quality, safety, progress and cost management system and its work safety standardization has passed the Grade A compliance inspection. In addition, it provides customers with project planning and consulting, approval, survey and design, equipment procurement, construction management, commissioning, operation and other services throughout the whole process.It has taken the general contracting of over 40 projects, such as thermal power, cogeneration, power transmission and transformation, biomass power generation, wind power and solar energy etc.. And it won the EPC general contracting bidding of 2 sets of 660 MW power generation project of Shenwan Lujiang, Hefei with the Consortium of North China Power Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Power Engineering Consulting Group on November 2015, which realized the breakthrough of zero of high-parameter and large capacity generator set general contracting project for CEEC AHEDI.

It arranges for "the Belt and Road" and actively expands international business with the successive completion of captive power plant project design of Aleppo Cement Plant in Syria, the design supervision and equipment manufacturing supervision of 2 sets of 125 MW power generation project in Jeneponto, Indonesia. Now, it is carrying out the projects of 2 sets of 100MW coal-fired power plant in Takalar, Indonesia and 2 sets of 35MW captive power plant project of Baru Conch Cement Company Limited, Indonesia. Projects closely followed cover more than 20 countries in Asia, Africa and South America etc..

Civilian construction design develops steadily with more than 100 civilian construction design completed. CEEC AHDI has completed Anhui Power Grid GIS data collection, and adopts advanced technology such as aerial photogrammetry, laser radar line selection, UAV data acquisition, high resolution satellite remote sensing image recognition and processing. It independently developed the integrated route optimization and selection system and airborne laser imaging system. Laser radar line selection, electric transmission line PMS standard construction, engineering pile testing, pile foundation detection, confirmation of land right and post project evaluation has been further expanded.

It actively planned to invest in the construction projects associated with the main business, shared and invested in Hefei Gezhouba Real Estate Co., Ltd., and realized investment + EPC general contracting project development. What's more, it shared and invested in Taihe New Energy Co., Ltd., making full use of the advantage on design to promote the business development of photovoltaic power station project.

CEEC AHEDI has been recognized as Anhui Provincial Enterprise Technology Center. It extensively carries out industry-university-research cooperative research with Hefei University of Technology and many other universities.It owns the Power Grid Geographical Information Research Center which was established with the National Key Laboratory of the Wuhan University; and it also established Anhui Provincial Electric Power Planning Research Center and Geographic Information Engineering Application Research Institute of CEEC Engineering Research Institute. Its 3D digital design, self-developed power grid GIS data collection quality control and data processing automation system, remote sensing line selection platform, 3D geological substation foundation treatment quantity calculation software and the application of geographic information technology is in the industry leading level.

For years, CEEC AHEDI has obtained more than 200 excellent engineering survey, design and consulting awards including the National Quality Project Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards of provincial and ministerial level and above. It has over 90 science and technology progress awards, more than 200 proprietary intellectual property rights such as invention patents, utility model patent and proprietary technologies.

It independently prepared or participated in the preparation of over 20 national and industry specifications and regulations, such as "The Technical Specification for Ethernet LAN Switch in Smart Substation", "Technical Code for Building Construction in Saline Soil Regions" and "Technical Specification for Selection and Design of Dust Collector in Power Station".
